Progress in all areas is being made, steadily but slowly!

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
- Even though the area has received some rainfall, Manatee County continues the water restrictions due to extreme drought. All irrigated areas in GH East are fully restricted to one day per week.
- POA West and other areas irrigated with reclaimed water are not restricted, but it is advised not to water during the afternoon hours. Car washing is restricted to the day of the week you are allowed to irrigate (Based on the ending digit of your address)
Phase 4 milling and paving: Gator Grading and Paving was awarded the bid. Schedule will be announced soon
GHL Landscape management: SSLM is addressing landscape issues proactively, installing missing and dead shrubs.
GHL Lake Management: Sitex Aquatics is proactively treating ponds, and addressing wetland and preserve areas.
Pressure Washing: Miami Gutters have been completed. Common area sidewalks have begun
Gates and Access : All gates are working. Please approach at a low speed, 5MPH or less, so RFID scanner has a chance to activate.
A couple of gates have been vandalized by vehicles and pedestrians. Police reports have been filed; violators will be prosecuted.
Any individual using emergency code remotes will be receiving fines from Manatee County Code Enforcement. Check out Ordinance 2-28-2 Manatee Code.
The next CDD Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 6 PM, at the Mulberry Clubhouse.
Facilities Report:
- The Rec Center pool and Spa were closed on Monday, March 30th, due to a small, diapered child defecating in the pool. They will reopen after cleaning and testing.
- Mulberry pool and spa are open.
- The Mulberry pool and spa will be resurfaced in January 2027, by "The Pool Works" vendor.
Nature Trails and Sidewalks: All nature trails and sidewalks are OPEN. Occasionally, trails may have debris and /or lifted areas caused by tree roots and erosion.
Special note: Parents, please caution and educate children on E-Bike etiquette when using nature trails and roads.
Streetlights: Please email Andrew with any lights that are not on overnight. Each pole has a number. Please include pole number and street name (like Chantilly 9).
F.H.P. continues to issue citations (averaging 30 per month) within the streets of Greyhawk.
Speeding and not stopping at stop signs, continue to be a huge safety issue.
Please, slow down, and stop at stop signs!
