Greyhawk Landing CDD update

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Manatee County has issued water restrictions due to severe drought. All irrigated areas in GH East are fully restricted to one day per week.
POA West and other areas irrigated with reclaimed water are not restricted, but it is advised not to water during the afternoon hours. Car washing is restricted to the day of the week you are allowed to irrigate (Based on the ending digit of your address)

 

Phase Three milling and paving, by Gator Grading and Paving, has been completed.
Phase 4 is now being planned with RFP advertised and bids received soon.

GHL Landscape management: SSLM is addressing landscape issues proactively, installing missing and dead shrubs.
GHL Lake Management: Sitex Aquatics is actively tending to lake management and wetland Brazilian Pepper tree eradication.

Pressure Washing of Miami Gutters is underway. Common area sidewalks will soon follow.

All gates are working. Report any issues to Field Mgr. Andrew Davis.

  • Soon any individual using emergency code remotes will be receiving fines from Manatee County Code Enforcement. Check out Ordinance 2-28-2 Manatee Code.

The next CDD Meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 22nd at 6 PM, at the Mulberry Clubhouse.

The Rec Center Pool, Mulberry Pool and both Spas are open and fully heated.
Mulberry pool and spa will be resurfaced in January 2027, by "The Pool Works" vendor.

Nature Trails and Sidewalks –
All nature trails and sidewalks are OPEN.  Occasionally, trails may have debris and /or lifted areas caused by tree roots and erosion. Consequently, PLEASE USE CAUTION as BIKES and SCOOTERS SHARE THESE WITH WALKERS AND JOGGERS.

Streetlights: Please email Andrew with any lights that are not on overnight. Each pole has a number. Please include pole number and street name (like Chantilly 9).

FHP continues to issue citations (averaging 30 per month) within the street of Greyhawk.
Speeding and not stopping at stop signs, continue to be a huge safety issue.
Slow down, and stop at stop signs!

If you see any suspicious or criminal activity, please report the incident by calling MCSO (941) 747-3011 Ext. 2260 immediately. (Do not call the gatehouse, Andrew, or the assistant field manager)
